Housing and Living Arrangements

Advanced Computing Institute does not offer or mediate living arrangements or off-campus housing. If needed, it is your responsibility to find appropriate housing and make the necessary living arrangements for the duration of your studies at our school.

In the greater Los Angeles area, monthly expenses for one person are estimated to be approximately $550.00 U.S. Dollars for rent (based on double occupancy in an average-sized 1-bedroom apartment), $50.00 U.S. Dollars for utility bills, $350.00 U.S. Dollars for food and $50.00 U.S. Dollars for public transportation, totaling $1,000.00 U.S. Dollars monthly for minimum living expenses.

Prospective students are responsible for paying their own living expenses, as Advanced Computing Institute does not compensate such costs. Please note, the above referenced costs are approximate estimations based on a frugal lifestyle, and may vary greatly based on the following:

1. The number of people you room with (whether you have dependents with you if applicable);

2. Your personal needs and habits;

3. The area of the city you live in.

It is advisable you research, in a timely manner, the housing and living arrangement options that may be available to you, prior to beginning your program of study.

You may consider renting a room or sharing an apartment with a roommate. You are welcome to post a housing related message/announcement on our school's notification board. Please be sure to carefully review the terms and conditions of any housing arrangement you enter into, considering it is your responsibility.
